HCA: Preventing Shoulder Dystocia
Shoulder dystocia is one of the most insidious complications of delivery. Occurring in 1–4% of births, it is difficult to predict and requires immediate response to prevent fetal injury. APS, along with HCA, is currently developing an online training program to increase awareness of shoulder dystocia and drill physicians in the proper responses.
